From how we treat fellow workers to our interaction with clients, suppliers, and business associates, this value guides every facet of our business.

Integrity

We define integrity as the continuous blend of values and behaviors that requires us to be truthful, no matter the cost. We strive to offer value to our clients in all things. Should a mistake occur, we promise to admit the error and move to correct the problem as quickly as possible.

Team Development

We utilize teams because we know that the contributions of a team surpass that which can be achieved by individuals working alone.

Servant Leadership

We have been called not to serve ourselves, but to serve one another. We employ this mindset on a daily basis as managers put employee needs ahead of their own, and employees do the same for our clients.

History

We are The CashLINQ Group, a total solutions provider comprised of four divisions: CashLINQ, MinistryLINQ, CheckLINQ, and ICOM Solutions. Each division was created to give you all the solutions you need, all in one place.

This is our story..

1999

CashLINQ was founded to provide electronic payment processing to small- and medium-sized businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest.

2000

MinistryLINQ was born from the realization that the one-size-fits-all solutions offered by banks and other merchant service providers could not meet the unique needs of non-profit organizations. With a heart for ministry and deep understanding of nonprofit work, MinistryLINQ built the cost-effective systems and meaningful relationships these organizations craved.

2002

Growing hand-in-hand, CashLINQ and MinistryLINQ looked to fulfill other non-profit needs by adding CheckLINQ to the mix. CheckLINQ services include electronic check recovery, check verification, and check conversion.

2003

Seeing a need for a way to make donations easier for both the organization and the donor, DonateLINQ Version 1.0 was created making online credit card processing a reality for many organizations.

2004

With a shift toward web-based transaction and donation processing, organizations needed a way to respond to this trend. Enter ICOM Solutions, our Internet Service Provider (ISP) division that offers web design, secure data hosting, and co-location facilities.

2005
DonateLINQ received an upgrade to 2.0. This upgrade added the ability to process ACH, along with the current credit card processing.

2006

CashLINQ was certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, meeting the compliance requirements for processing, storing or transmitting cardholder data set by the PCI security standards.

2007

CashLINQ extended services to Canada, partnering with organizations to provide payment processing solutions.

2009

After a round of strong development, the Qsuite 1.0 was released, updating DonateQ and adding EventQ, an online solution for event registration.

2011

CashLINQ was awarded the #1 spot for best places to work in Washington. Think you’d like to join our wonderful workplace? Visit our Careerspage to see our current job openings.

CashLINQ released SmoothPay, a system for merging all deposits and reports together to make reconciliation simple.

2012

Cementing the status as a one-stop-shop, CashLINQ launched the ezQlick payment gateway allowing for payment processing to truly be done safe and secure in-house.

2013
Qsuite version 2.0 was released with new functions and capabilities making it easier than ever to take your organization online for donations, event registration and more. Check out the new and improved DonateQ and EventQ today!

The CashLINQ Group Releases SmoothPay API to Improve Transaction Reporting for Nonprofits

Spokane, WA (November 1, 2012) – The CashLINQ Group, LLC, an industry-leading provider of electronic payments, announced today the release of its SmoothPay Application Programming Interface (API). The API is designed to enhance and automate transaction reporting for nonprofit organizations.

Spokane, WA (September 25, 2012) – The CashLINQ Group, LLC, an industry-leading provider of electronic payments, announced today several new features to its cutting-edge payment processing solution, SmoothPay.

SmoothPay was created to make payment processing easy to understand by simplifying the application process, pricing structure, and merchant account statements. The newest advancements further improve the merchant experience and offer flexible, more affordable cost structures.

July 27, 2011 - The CashLINQ Group Offers New Payment Processing Experience—SmoothPay

PRESS RELEASE

The CashLINQ Group Offers New Payment Processing Experience—SmoothPay

Spokane, WA (July 27, 2011) – The CashLINQ Group, LLC revealed SmoothPay today—a new payment processing method to accompany its recently released data vaulting service, QSafe.

SmoothPay was built based on the unanimous customer sentiment that typical merchant account statements are difficult to read. Statements are often cluttered with convoluted industry language/fees and prove even more difficult to reconcile against bank statements. SmoothPay eliminates the complicated pricing structures and replaces them with one easily-understood percentage and transaction fee.

SmoothPay streamlines the payment process from end-to-end. SmoothPay requires only one simplified application and one merchant account regardless of the number of organization locations; descriptors can be assigned to each location so the cardholder sees the correct identity on their credit card statements. This feature minimizes chargebacks, and each descriptor can be found on the merchant’s statement for easy reconciliation. With only one merchant account there are fewer fees and fewer statements, making billing and depositing easy to follow.

Additionally, SmoothPay deposits credit/debit cards (excluding American Express) and ACH transactions together, so the daily Net Deposit on the SmoothPay Activity Statement matches the daily deposit on the bank statement exactly for a speedy reconciliation process.

With a seamless payment process from beginning to end, SmoothPay frees up valuable time for organizations so they can focus on their goals.

PRESS RELEASE

The CashLINQ Group Introduces TuitionSense Convenience Fee Program

Spokane, WA (July 12, 2011) – The CashLINQ Group, LLC has launched TuitionSense, a convenience fee program that allows colleges, universities, and K-12 schools to manage the fees associated with accepting credit cards for tuition payments.

For schools that accept credit card payments for tuition, merchant fees can become a significant overhead cost. While credit card payments are not disappearing any time soon, TuitionSense helps these institutions virtually eliminate credit card processing fees.

With TuitionSense, a school can offer its constituents the ability to pay tuition online using Discover, American Express, MasterCard, or EFT. Those who opt for this payment method will use TuitionSense and be charged a fee—a percentage of the total payment—for the convenience of paying online. TuitionSense collects the credit card information, processes the transaction along with the convenience fee, and deposits 100 percent of the original tuition amount into the school’s account.

The CashLINQ Group designed TuitionSense so that schools can continue to offer viable payment options, remain compliant with the credit card industry’s security regulations, and maximize tuition revenue.

April 19, 2011 - The CashLINQ Group Launches QSafe, Data Vaulting Service to Combat Growing Security Threats in Electronic Payments Industry

PRESS RELEASE

The CashLINQ Group Launches QSafe, A New Data Vaulting Service to Combat Growing Security Threats in Electronic Payments Industry

Spokane, WA (April 19, 2011) – The CashLINQ Group, LLC announced today the release of QSafe, a data vaulting service intended to thwart the increasing attacks on information systems and theft of cardholder data.

Many organizations that accept credit card payments store cardholder data in their own systems. This common practice can have a negative financial and reputational impact should a data breach occur. The costs of a data breach increase every year, and organizations spend a large amount of time and money to become compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

QSafe eliminates on-site data storage and can greatly reduce the scope of PCI compliance. The original payment information is input on the merchant website—no redirects, no confusing URLs as is common with other providers. QSafe automatically, and transparently, removes all the payment data and creates a unique token, which is securely stored in QSafe, or the merchant’s database, for future use or is passed back to the website to complete the transaction.

Storing data in QSafe allows organizations to focus on their mission, while making the end-user experience simpler and safer.

January 18, 2011 - The CashLINQ Groups Adds Services to Expedite Check Acceptance

PRESS RELEASE

The CashLINQ Groups Adds Services to Expedite Check Acceptance

Spokane WA, January 18, 2011 – The CashLINQ Group, a merchant service provider that offers electronic payment solutions for a variety of ministries, churches, nonprofit organizations, and businesses announces the addition of CheckQ to their already extensive line of products available through the “Qsuite.”

While so many people have turned to credit and debit cards as a way of life, there are still some staunch believers in the old-fashioned paper check.; Research shows that Baby Boomers and Matures still rely heavily on checks when it comes to donating to charities, and even some Gen X and Gen Y members find a mailed-in check to be the most convenient or trustworthy method of contributing.

Unfortunately, the processing of checks does put an added burden on organizations that are so dependent upon the funds. Processing a paper check is labor intensive, with the need for endorsement, data entry, physical trips to the bank for deposits, and more. CheckQ effectively removes the most time-consuming aspects of the process and provides ways to track the data. Keeping administrative costs low is critical when it comes to maximizing donations or even payment for goods and services.

CheckQ works by scanning paper checks and turning them into electronic transactions. The secure process not only automatically endorses the payment but also uses “Courtesy Amount Recognition” and “Legal Amount Recognition” to read the numeric and written values of the individual checks. Name and address information is also captured, and organizations can assign donations to categories including split gifts.

All of the transactions can simply be electronically transmitted through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) with no need to drive to the bank and make a deposit. Scanned images of the checks are stored in case there is a later need for retrieval, and whether used as a standalone or utilizing other products in the Qsuite, reconciliation is a breeze. This addition to the Qsuite really complements all the other modules and simplifies the administrative aspect so clients can focus on their missions.

January 11, 2011 - Where Do Text-Based Donation Funds Really Go?

PRESS RELEASE

Where Do Text-Based Donation Funds Really Go?

Spokane WA, January 11, 2011 – A Spokane, Washington company, The CashLINQ Group, has announced the release of giveMobileQ, a service that allows donors to make text-based donations that actually reach intended recipients through their existing merchant accounts. giveMobileQ is providing an alternative to giving up a huge chunk of that effort for simply having the privilege of fundraising via cell phone. The service gives nonprofits the ability to assign a keyword to a funding campaign. When supporters text that keyword to the appropriate number, they receive a URL that allows them to donate directly to the organization’s website. Administration costs for the service run a fraction compared to other options, allowing for a significant increase in money collected by participating organizations.

When an earthquake devastated Haiti in January of 2010, the concept of “text-to-give” donations truly came into the mainstream. Within 36 hours, more than $10 million was raised for the American Red Cross through mobile donations.

Texting has become so common that the approach to charitable giving is an obvious way to tap into modern cultural norms. It also allows people to make donations RIGHT NOW, when they’re feeling particularly moved by a call to action. Despite these positive aspects of text-based donations, there is a dark side. One detail that is commonly overlooked is that the billing is done through the cell service provider who collects and distributes funds donated via their networks. And, they charge a hefty price for the service, taking it out of the donation total with donors being none the wiser.

PRESS RELEASE

Spokane Company Takes Second Position in Seattle Business Top 100 Companies to Work for in 2010

Spokane WA, June 27, 2010 – In its annual “Best Companies to Work For,” edition, Seattle Business magazine named The CashLINQ Group as number two in the Small Companies division. The magazine notes that difficult economic times offer an insight into which companies are truly investing in their employees, rather than only watching profit margins. “These are the companies that have survived turbulent times and managed to keep their employees happy,” they wrote in the June, 2010 edition.

They were so impressed with one aspect of The CashLINQ Group, in fact, that it got a special mention out of the hundred companies listed. The achievement? Every new employee is issued a Nerf gun upon hiring so that he or she can take part in the occasional Nerf battles that break out on the office floor. Another fun aspect of working for CashLINQ is the fact that each of the company’s employees has an engraved paddle for enjoying the ping pong table provided by CEO Foster Chase.

Creating strong morale isn’t just about toys and games, however. The CashLINQ Group is dedicated to five core values, one of which is the constant support and development of employees. This is bolstered by considerable amounts of employee recognition, including celebrations for birthdays and anniversary dates, as well as flexible schedules that encourage employees to pursue their personal interests. Krystal Weaver, Marketing Coordinator at CashLINQ, says she especially appreciates the 16 hours of paid annual leave provided for the purpose of community service.

Leslie Healm, Editor of Seattle Business explains, “CashLINQ’s inclusion as a Best Company to Work For is evidence of the company’s commitment to develop its human resources through improved communications, a cohesive culture and strong leadership, values that are core to developing a successful enterprise.”
